Holidays

I spent this past Thanksgiving in Pigeon Forge,Tennessee. Instead of the traditional home made turkey at the family table, sandwiches in the Smokies defines a vacation hard to forget!! From car trips through the mountains to stores in Dolly Wood, I wouldn't call it anything less than pleasant!

I took about 600 photos throughout the one week vacation.. You don't think I over did it, right? I couldn't figure out how to write captions underneath each photo with this new device, so here is where I leave you.
Enjoy!

Summer

This summer has flown past me faster than I could put a watch to, well sometimes. Other times I simply feel like time is not moving at all!.. With-in this great BIG World, I can't possibly be the only one feeling that way, right?

Anyways, this Tuesday our church youth is heading to a convention, Peak. It is, simply told, a giant youth gathering! I can't wait for the Preaching!!!

Free Time Creates

Its been such a long time since I've posted, my blog has become a bit dusty. I promise not to make that a habit!
Today was just one of those un-event full days that happen to pop on you. Those days call for lots of time pray and innovation.
I'll Begin with a short story. I found a skate insole on my Landry room floor and I then wanted to skate. Having one shoe insole I figured I'd find it after I found the actual skates. I find my skates in the attic. I presume to close the attic door, and look for the other skate insole. I'm really sad to say I couldn't find it, and I broke the attic door in the process. I have a tendency to break things that open and close, like drawers.
Even though I faced a obstacle..

This story still has a Happy Ending!.. Yay!

                                                        A pair of converse!

And an Empty skate = Fun!
He must have had an un-eventful day too..
How many words can you spell within the word "China"?

We are!

I read this post from Douglas White and loved it!, and I wanted to show all my wonderful visitors!   ...Appréciez! (That means enjoy in french!)
When you come to God your world takes on a whole new culture called an Apostolic culture. The Apostolic movement has a culture all of its own! And while some are trying to ‘blend in’ you need to know that ‘blending in’ was NEVER God’s plan for the Church!

We have our…

Own message,
...
Own doctrines,
Own look and, because we talk in tongues,
We have our own language!

We are known… our Apostolic identity has testified through the ages… that we are the ones that live our lives by certain standards. And, frankly, I find it ridiculous that some are trying to erase those Apostolic distinctives among us;

They want their lives to ‘blend in’ with a lost world
God wants our lives to ‘stand out’ to those needing us most!

Their carnal, callous mentality has forgotten that we aren’t to be worried about their culture but locked into our Apostolic culture!

Their culture says ‘find the approval of men’ but
Apostolic culture says ‘find the approval of God’!

Their culture says ‘fit in with your peers’ but
Apostolic culture says ‘fit into the Body of Christ’!

Their culture says ‘if it feels good do it’ but
Apostolic culture says ‘if you feel God do it’!

Their culture says ‘attach yourself to the world’
Apostolic culture says ‘attach yourself to God’!

Odds and Inns

I suppose my title matches the subject here.I sewed this skirt about a month ago. Today I decided to pull it out.If you look really closely at the belted part of the skirt, you will see pins. That's because I haven't sewn that part together.
I didn't use a pattern. It's made out of a khaki pleated school skirt Shanaenae gave me.. Oh, I don't want you to think I take perfectly good skirts and make them into something else, the original skirt had broken pleats.
Where's Tina?!?

Doesn't that look weird! It looks almost like I've pasted myself there.

Here's some pretty catchy quotes I got off of Holy Ghost radio!  (http://www.holyghostradio.com/ )
  • If you ain't Got no holy you ain't got no ghost!- Mark King
  • The place where the devil attacks the most is where there's so much potential! - Preacher unknown
  • I've got this blingy bling, ain't Got no Ring ring I'm a cosmic kid.  Yeah I'm a cosmic kid. -Nathanial J. Wilson
